Lead Systems Analyst, Indiana University

I work at the Office of Research Administration at Indiana University, where I am responsible for all phases of software development from conception, design to delivery, support and beyond of applications that help manage IU's $600 million research budget. With a background in data visualization, I mainly develop reporting applications in .Net but work with a variety of technologies including Java, PHP, even MS Access and of course Flex and ActionScript. After graduating with a Master's in CS from Indiana University, I enrolled in the Information Science PhD program at IU and roamed around a bit on the East and West coast, doing some research programming, teaching, consulting and running a company for a while before coming back to Bloomington again. Having taught introductory computer courses, graduate level statistics and Flex at IU, I've realized how much I enjoy teaching. So after I helped out with BFlex last year, I decided this year I am gonna do an all-day Flex for developers session. Hope to see you in class!

p.s. I am also the webmaster of this site, built with lots of help from Steve.
